Taxpayers first

Your tax dollars belong to you, not to the politicians who happen to be spending them this year. Government at its best earns the trust it's given. Government at its worst takes that trust for granted.

Taxpayers first isn't a slogan. It's a decision-making framework. When a spending choice comes up, the first question isn't "Can we afford this?" It's "Do the people who fund this agree it's worth it?" That's a different question, and it leads to different answers.
